CD ReviewsIt Will be a Cold Day in Hell before I ever toss this one +deV | Hellifornia, CA | 09/04/2000 (4 out of 5 stars) "In all honesty I heard the track 'blinded' on mp3.com ;) and I fell in love with the song. It had the most intense opening I had heard in quite awhile. I found the disc here and ordered it as fast as I could. One click, bang bang. I was shocked at what I heard on this disc. It wasn't the same song over and over. This band gets intense and then can do a song that's totally romantic. You have to hear 'Blinded' the intro alone will hook you. Especially if you play it really loud. And no this isn't a metal band. 'New Emotion' starts off with this rain effect and it's a totally moving song with some eerie synth work. 'Fade' is a ripper and just makes me want too thrash something. 'Lion's Game' is another emotional roller coaster. And then theres even an instrumental called 'in transit' thats fun. Then theres quite a few other songs on this album that just go in their own directions. It all has a common thread but theres alot of differnet things going on instrument wise. They actually use guitars and have a drummer, which is a nice change of pace. Synths are great, and this band uses them in a great way but there is no guitar absence here. So that makes it even sweeter. It was nice too find out that not every band is doing the electro thing. And the vocalist actually sings, wow. If you miss dark guitar based music this is a great band. And can you beat the price???. It's worth a chance, dontcha think? It only loses one star because I want MORE. The disc is quite long but I want them to put out more......."
