"When I first heard Willie the Kid was on the mixtape with him and his brother La the Darkman called "Dead Presidents" I thought homie was cool until he released his mixtape "The Day the Game Changed" which really won me over and since then I've been a big fan. With Drama and the Aphiliates first artist released I was impressed with the results. Willie reminds me a lot of Lupe but more street savvy, delivery is on point and he's nice with the punchlines when he's not trying to over complicate them. The production on the album is solid throughout, there's only one song which i don't care for and that's Coogi Down. Everything else is hot or at least cool enough to listen thru. I can't say there are any songs that really standout but it's a great listen all the way thru. They mentioned this was just a pre-album so hopefully they cooking up his true debut to be something more epic but overall good album"

"I first caught on to Willie the Kid when I heard him on DJ Drama's Gangsta Grillz album and I was more than impressed with his lyrical word play. He reminds me of Lupe Fiasco in a way and that's not a bad thing at all if you know Lupe. Now with Absolute Greatness you have something close to a classic. I'm rockin' with him til the end."
