Synopsis

Album Description
If Willie Nelson had concentrated on just his songwriting, he would be considered one of the most important composers of his generation. Fortunately, Willie maintained his writing career in tandem with his own recording career, further adding to his importance. This album features thirteen tracks with minimal musical accompaniment, allowing his rich and distinctive voice to come to the fore. That he wrote or co-wrote all but one of the tracks on this album only adds to the allure. Hallmark. 2007.

CD Reviews

Rip off
Alan Grose | 11/12/2007
(2 out of 5 stars)

"Don't buy this album. It is barely over 20 minutes long and consists of old demos, some of which are only a minute long. The material included has been offered on other early demo sessions albums in a better way. This company gained rights to some material and has now put out this album to rip off Willie fans."
Disappointed in 'To Much To Do'
J. Hill | Dallas, TX | 01/01/2008
(1 out of 5 stars)

"This CD lacked the quality that Willie's music usually has. It's just bits and pieces that somebody cobbled together from practice or recording sessions. His usual enthusiasm is missing."
So Much To Do

(4 out of 5 stars)

"willie's latest contains mostly self written short songs but contain that carefree but serious style."
