"All these tracks are available in cheap hodge-podge compilations of varied transfer quality, but here they are with good quality audio and without the duplications inherent in compilation collections. Unfortunately, documentation is nil. If BMG (UK) had only placed the songs in chronological order with session dates, personnel, and release info, this would have been a major addition to great Willie Nelson collections. The tracks were recorded by RCA between 1965 and 1972 with several later tracks which appear to be taken from RCA collaborations with Waylon. While some of the RCA recordings were inappropriately enveloped in the Nashville Sound, others are among the finest recordings Willie has made. With no documentation, just a good collection of 49 recordings from the 200+ that Willie made for RCA. Enjoy!"
