"This is truly Willie Nelson's most varied and excellent album to date. I have always loved all of his music, but his pure and undiluted voice becomes so apparent when he sings the old standards. This is music for late at night with a glass of wine and the lights low with someone that you love. I totally recommend this one."

"these are songs written by Willie and several have become monster hits, especially "Crazy". Willie sings them in his own personal style and tho the style is spare, they have a certain beauty that the original hits didn't have."
