Product DescriptionWill Bradley and ex Glenn Miller drummer Ray McKinley formed a big band in 1939 and they became known for their sweet dance music and latterly boogie woogie songs with which they had great success. Amongst their hits were 'Beat Me Daddy Eight To A Bar'; 'Scrub Me Mama With A Boogie Beat' and 'Down The Road A Piece' all of which were in the top ten Billboard Music Chart during the late 1940s. The rare recordings on this compact disc come from the late 1950s when Will was recording with his Jazz Octet a talented outfit which also included Billy Butterfield on trumpet.
