CD ReviewsThe Rockinest Band You've Never Heard of! C.J. Haldeman | Lewiston, Maine USA | 03/21/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "I've been a fan of The Wildhearts for about 10 years now, clear back to their first US release, Earth Vs. The Wildhearts (a classic, by the way, if you're just now finding the Wildhearts). The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed is the first full-length album from the original "Earth Vs." lineup in years, and is a glistening bit of hard rock that no one should be without. SPIN magazine gave it an "A" grade a couple of months ago, which is really saying something considering it's not even a US release, but an import. Luckily, and I got this right from the lead singer/songwriter/guitarist, Ginger - this album looks like it will get an American release in the future. If you're asking me what Wildhearts albums you should start off with, definitely pick this one up and Earth Vs., and you'll have a solid idea what the Wildhearts are all about. It's hard rock with catchy melodies and hooks galore. Their current US tour with flavor of the month, The Darkness, should hopefully open up the US market to this original, clever rock band. Oh, and by the way - don't pay this outrageous price for the import. Go to www.amazon.com/uk and order it straight from the UK, cause it's WAYYYYYY less expensive - even with shipping and handling! Check out the Wildhearts at www.thewildhearts.com"
