"In the early 90s or even the early 70s this lp would have been high on the charts. Today unfortunately it probably won't happen. Too many good melodies and toe tappin' tunes for today's listener or buyer. Wild Light is very reminiscent of early 90s groups such as the Gin Blossoms or the Rembrandts.
Califorina on My Mind should be a huge hit. The repititous use of the f word (hate that type of characterization that presumes only one word begins with f) should not be in it's way, but it might be.
If you truly apprecitate rock & roll as it was created and not today's pabulum or the truly forgetable rap (can't imagine the musical joy in a 20th reunion where people have no recollection of the "lyrics" in top selling rap lps), then you must BUY THIS DISC. Don't let these guys go the way of groups like the Avett Brothers who put out consistantly good lps that only their core group of fans ever hear.
It remains in my heavy rotation and should be in yours."

"In 2007 I've seen Wild Light opening for Arcade Fire in Munich, and I really was blown away. Later I kept hearing their songs on Vienna's greatest radio station FM4.
And I am really happy they're still around.
You should check youtube to see how Wild Light play outside the San Jose Event Center, before the Killers concert.
It's a cool band, and if you liked Vampire Weekend, MGMT, Arcade Fire, Peter Bjorn and John and similar I definitely recommend Wild Light.
They play with a subtle and stoic atmosphere, that I felt was missing in the Indie Rock genre.
Greetings from Europe."
