"This is a womderful CD! The only flaw (and it is a big one) is in the exclusion of the story of Jamaican Woman & The Old Raisin (Which you have to se the video for). Other than that, I highly recommend the CD!"

"This marks the start of a very illustrious career. Ms. Goldberg draws you in the with the humor and then starts to make you think about some serious topics. Lots of big laughs and subtleties that make her truly an artist and not just a commedienne. Now if they would just release this show on DVD, life would be very good."

"Whoopi Goldberg is hilarious while doing very pointed social commentary. Each of her marvelous characters makes you laugh and makes you think. Check out the video to see the fifth character, a Jamaican woman."
