"What is the purpose of this set? These 3 albums have already re-released and remastered on a CD called "Here I Go Again - Best Of" or something like that. I didn't buy it so I don't remember the full title. Where are the bonus tracks and stuff die hard fans want. Think about who is buying this. Geffen must really need some cash flow. I assume Mr. Coverdale didn't have much to do with this so I won't blame him. EMI needs to step up to the plate and re-release "Trouble" with bonus live tracks or how about a bonus DVD. Fans of the old Whitesnake will snag in a heartbeat. Also, there is not one official DVD from Whitesnake. I know there's one coming out filmed last year or whatever but how about some old classic footage! Use "The Early Years" DVD by Iron Maiden as a guide. They are a band who do not disappoint their fans and I respect them for that."

"When I bought this 3 CD Box-set I was suprised to learn that it wasn't the typical Box-set that I am used to buying. Whitesnake has not released a bad album to this date and probably never will. I am used to Box-sets being like a large compilation of nearly all of the band's most popular material. This Box-set contains 3 CDs that most every Whitesnake fan already owns. In my opinion, these 3 albums are the best 3 albums that Whitesnake ever released!! Disc 1 is Whitesnake - Slide It In, Disc 2 is Whitesnake - Whitesnake and Disc 3 is Whitesnake - Slip Of The Tongue. The Self titled Whitesnake CD is my all time favorite CD! This CD really rocks!!! David Coverdale and company really hit it big on this one! I was slightly disappointed to find that these 3 CDs aren't even Remastered that I could see. I collect CDs so, despite my being disappointed in this Box-set, I will keep it and put it away in my safe without even playing any of the discs. It will be worth more money someday maybe. If you do not have these 3 CDs separately as I do, I recommend that you get this Box-set as soon as possible. It is fairly priced and definitely worth the money!!!"
