"What's different about Whisper is that it's even MORE peaceful than Enya- I hadn't thought that was possible. It moves a little more slowly. I can also understand the words, and they are encouraging and uplifting. The quality of the songwriting is about the same as Enya, which is so much better than most New Age-type albums."

"I'm reclining here, as the waves wash over me of a CD that my nurse gave me of Genie, titled "Whisper". (By the way, the realaudio samples above are not on the Whisper CD I'm listening to). I'm amazed with the quiet gentleness and unadulterated comfort that flows from this CD...
Very consistent- obviously planned for relaxation and maximum peace.I feel that Genie's music is elongating and deepening my alpha, beta, and theta waves- translation: "It's more relaxing than valium!" And her voice- so tender and gentle and perfectly in tune, it makes you want to cry. I hear alot of faster music these days although I like it, Genie's Whisper is so refreshing and I find that I listen to it many, many times in a row because it truly comforts my spirit!
The last few weeks it's what I've been waking up to in the morning, and it makes for a splendid start to the day.
There is healing in Genie's music. The compositions on Whisper are so solid- every song is well-written. You can tell Genie really cares deeply about helping people through her music."Shalom"....what an unbelievably great song. it goes through my head whenever I'm feeling stressed, and calms me. That's what the world needs now.I'm sure Whisper will be too slow for some folks, but if you realize just how much you need to relax, how stressed out and hyped you become just by being alive in these crazy times, you will appreciate Genie's gift to you and treasure Whisper always.It's like the feeling when you leave the hectic boom boom pace of the world and video games, and get out into Yellowstone Park. You just stand amazed at the quiet, slow beauty of nature, and realize that everything is in control.That's what Genie's Whisper is like. Unforgettable."
