"Wow! This album is fantastic! I first heard a cut off this CD at MP3.com and immediately wanted to hear more! It has a wonderful mix of Latin Salsa and English lyrics that makes it "Muy Caliente"! The instrumental arrangements are superb and Faith Rivera's vocals are... well... "Aye,Aye,Aye"! I especially like Frank Garcia's "Bailarina" - it has some great spanish guitar pickin'! Bring on the Flamenco dancers! And their version of "Hang on Sloopy" will have your toes tapping! This album has a very professional, polished sound. Get it now! This groups gonna be BIG!"

"I was browsing through MP3.com, looking for new music to play on my radio station, when I went to the latin charts. "LA Carpool...sounds interesting. Better check it out." I thought as I clicked on the link. As the music (Simpatico) came on, I was suprised. Most of the artists I'd heard were "up and coming." In other words, they were garage bands who knew nothing about music, or how to record it. Back to the CD...When Worlds Collide is great. With all the new Ricky Martin,Jennifer Lopez kinds of latin-made-into-pop, the originality and great beat struck me. This is a wondeful CD, and to anyone who is thinking about it, go ahead and buy it. It's worth it! Every song is danceable, and I haven't yet gotten tired of them. If I had to decide on a best Latin CD, this one would be it. My favorite song is Simpatico, becuse you can really rock on the dance floor to it, but in a close second is their cover of Hang On Sloopy. I hear it at home, then at a Ohio State football game, and try not to think which version is best, beause the members of the OSU marching band would not like my decision!"

"Whew! Just listened to this CD and it is hot. Every player is a pro and the voice of Faith has that star quality ring. Why this isn't an Amazon pick is beyond me. The whole CD is totally consistent all the way through with no junk filler like many others I have heard."

"does anyone remember a 45 version of "like they say in l.a." b/w "linda chicana" by a group called east l.a. carpool in the late 70's? i use to have the 45 but lost it a few years ago. brings back many memories of hearing "like they say in l.a." on my old stereo back home in the central valley! great to hear it in this rerecorded version. wish i could get the original version."
