Wonderful Contrabass World

"This is an odd compilation of pieces, but somehow they work. The opening two tracks are two of the movements from Runswick's "Suite and Low" and are brilliantly written takes on well-known works. The Quartet by Colin Brumby is great original work for bass quartet which explores how gorgeous four part bass chords can be, and the Sperger duet is a nice piece (a bit lengthy in you're not in the right mood) played beautifully as always by Klaus Trumpf."
