"The year was 1997, the month was June, the day was the 12th and on that day I had hit bottom. My wife had left me, my great uncle died and I had been diagnosed with carpel tunnel syndrome. Life was not looking up, until that night, around my friend Boon's mahogany coffee table during our usual thursday night bridge session, when all of a sudden from his foyer, the magical sounds of what seemed like a obese homeless musical artist were being ommitted. I had to investigate. So I went in to the hall where these enchanting and strangely seducing tunes were coming from. And sure enough my instincts were correct. It was an overly obese homeless man who was creating this auditory artwork. Immediately after this experience, my life completely turned around. The next day I met a bolemic french supermodel, my great uncle rose from the grave and my doctor said that not only had he mistakenly diagnosed me with carrpel tunnel syndrome but that I actually have a new release of a certain type of hormone that will never allow me to get sick ever again. So buy Wesley Willis I recommend it."
Hit or Miss

"Wesley Willis's music is certainly hit or miss. While few people will accuse him of being musically gifted or creative, everyone will certainly understand the pure genius of his lyrics. He instantly either completely offends or completely endears himself to the listener. I will never forget the first time I heard Mr. Willis's music.Wesley's insights into the human mind are profound and hillarious at the same time. He is truly a visionary, and his work should be studied for decades. The experience of listening to Wesley Willis's music is one that everyone should have an opportunity to enjoy. I would suggest that everyone snuggle up with a loved one, pop in this CD, and put it on loop for hours. Your neighbors will love it too!"
Get in the groove

"I heard one reviewer say that this album is the stupidest album he had ever heard and that he did not understand how anyone could waste money buying this CD. The issue is not that it is stupid, the issue is whether or not you will get into the groove of the album and if you enjoy Willis's humor. Despite its repetitiveness, Willis's music is original because of the unique way in which he delivers his songs (Willis is schizophrenic). For those of us who find Willis's music accessible, the simplistically catchy songs and the one-of-a-kind humor that only Willis can deliver blesses the listener with laughter and an enjoyable musical experience."

"Any Wesley Willis cd is a must have for any true cd collector. This particular album represents his true genius at work. He breaks down conventional thinking and throws it right back at you. Just listen to him chant "Nirvana", pure genius. If you are a fan of Wesley, try to find a copy of James B. He is not found in any stores but ask any music buddy you might have because he or she may have one. Another must have."
