One of the Best Wesley Albums To the Max

"I was disappointed for all of the "bad" taste reviews for this album. This album truly deserves better. First of all it has some of Wesley Willis' most noteworthy songs. "Topher Bagley" and "Matt Sprinkle." This album ranks up there with Rush Hour and Feel the Power. I don't want to ruin the lyrical surprise to any of the songs but Topher Bagley is about a Golden Retriever who is the best dog to the Max. It is beautiful when Wesley says I love petting you as I speak. There is also a song about Topher's owner Mark Bagley. Then, a hilarious song about a guy Wesley knows who is a "Punch drunk in the devil's hellfire" and a bad influence "you told me you were going to kill yourself....my friends had to get me away from you because of your ignorance..Matt Sprinkle." The songs are unique and touching. Another cool thing about this album is the breaks have birds chirping or dogs growling (I'm assuming Topher Bagley) or what sounds like a studio audience at a game show or sports event being constantly let down. Anyway, the album is unique and well produced (though Wesley does sound a bit tired on some of the tracks, I imagine he was ill during the recording). This album is one of his finest. If you understand the poetics and lyrical finesse of Wesley you won't be disappointed. IF you think as some reviewer said he is a one trick pony this album will prove to you he is because you are unwilling to look beyond song structure. I have tried reading Wesley reviews and they are littered with people trying to write a Wesley poem but lacking the Willis Maestro's Magic Touch. Simply put to those who listen his music makes a lot of people happy. I really like it a lot."
