"Rarely do you find an artist who displays such a fusion of talent and energy. Wes Cunningham is the real deal. His music is absolutely geniune and infused with vitality. He chooses not to limit himself to one style, but instead, goes where his music leads him. Most people could never pull this off. Wes does so without a hitch. Each song is unique and captivates the listener. He is truly one of Rock'n'Roll's premier young artists and will undoubtedly be in the forefront of music for years to come. I highly recommend this album to anyone who loves good music."

"I first heard this album at a time in my life when I could relate to almost every song on it. I sing along and I laugh and I cry and I haven't found anyone who hasn't liked it yet. Wes is poignant and true to a fault through his sound, his voice, and his lyrics. I found a mix of rock, salsa, pop, and lounge swing on this album and it's so refreshing to hear something with a really neat twist. This album is so fresh and the sounds work so well together...IT'S ALL GOOD."

"I first heard So It Goes on the radio in the middle of the night, and instantly knew i had to get the CD. It took me a few days to get ahold of it, and honestly, i was a little disappointed with it at first. All of the songs are so different, and i'd been hoping for more that were similar to my beloved So It Goes. With more listenings, however, i've found almost every song to be thoroughly enjoyable. The best songs on the album, in my opinion, are So It Goes and Playing With Fire. So it Goes is a lively number, and Playing With Fire is a more subdued song, but both stick in my head like crazy glue if i so much as think about them."
Live show made me buy

"I caught Wes Cunningham live as he opened for Buddy Guy here in D.C. He and his band blew me away. I went out the next day and bought this disc and still listen to it regularly nearly four years later. On stage the Elvis Costello influence seemed clear, but on the disc the Beatles win out. Not to say he's derivative - he has a syle all his own, but with strong stylistic roots. Great stuff. Warner Bros dropped him after this one and only this week I learned he recorded a second disc "Polyanna" nearly a year ago, tho I can't find it for sale anywhere. ..."

"I was going to buy some empty jewel cases from my local used record store and they had a bunch of unsold CDs out in the sidewalk for the taking. I scooped up about 15. Got home, this one was on top. I thought- "What if it's actually GOOD? Yeah- right! Ha!" So I put it in the CD player. Wow! I had heard And So It Goes in the past w/o knowing the artist. The rest of the CD is a total grab bag of pop styles- very well done. It's bloody great!"
