"Wendy has done it again! With her newest release, "World Between Worlds" elevates itself above all previous albums released to date. From "Singing to the Bones", to the other songs like "Dissolve" and "Inanna", each song conveys its own story, with the dynamics of Wendy's voice and the beautiful blend of acoustics, keyboard and cello. Indeed, there is plenty of that, as a previous reviewer noted, being complimented by what could only be described as a voice that is as "sweet as honey dipped Psirens." Words cannot truly describe what Wendy has compiled in this latest release. The songs tend to draw upon your soul, and bring you to another world. Another must get!"

"While I've never really heard Wendy's CD I have heard her music live. I dissagree with the person above who said that the CD was more for gothic kids. If you listen to the lyrics she weaves stories into her music that are enchanting, stories of heros, and Gods and Goddesses, and loves and losses, and reflections that Wendy has had on points in her life.If you love mythology, are Pagan, or just enjoy some good soothing music I reccomend Wendy Rule's CD's. All of them. Her lyrics are insightful, her music simplly enchanting, her voice soothing. The moment that I first listened to her I was simply in love. I was spellbound."
Soaring and transcendent

"I love this album! This has some of my favorite songs on it. Three Colours deals with an ancient Irish story about love and death (as are ALL Irish myths) and has a beautiful story behind it (Wendy tells it best in her live shows). I also love Creature Of the Day and Entropy best. If you've got good bass speakers, turn the sound up and feel the room throb as Wendy's voice comes floating over the top. Over an hour of music to take your troubles away."
Dark, evocative and mysterious...

"Released in 2000, World Between Worlds is yet another amazing album from this very talented Melbourne artist. In this album lush keyboards of previous records have replaced the acoustic beauty of guitars, strings, and percussion; creating beautifully dark soundscapes which guide you into otherworldy realms.
A meditaive journey into the full spectrum of human emotion, highlighting Wendy's surreal and sweeping vocals...
