The technical artistry is amazing - reminiscent of Glenn Gould - and they manage to convey via two pianos the emotion, complexity, and excitement that one would expect from a full orchestral arrangement. Even an opera purist may find themselves feeling that the piano arrangements are truer to the spirit of the pieces than the original orchestral arrangements."
