CD Reviews

F.A.R.T. (Fight for artist with real talent)

"I had the pleasure of chatting with Harron on Maysa Leak's web page. I bought her cd thinking it was just going to be something i could sell back to my local record store. But to my surpise it is one of my favorite cd. For her not being on a major label, this cd is simply amazing. She writes, sings, and plays most all the instruments, but her main joy is the sax. I've heard Najee, George Howard (R.I.P) and countless others blow there horns, but Harron is in a class by herself. This cd takes you from the bedroom to the dancefloor. Every tracks has a flow about it, something you wouldn't expect from a first time artist. If you love jazz, funk, salsa, then this is the cd for you. I can't wait for her next cd. Hopefully we can do something together on it. As I write also. Make welcome to my world your next purchase, you'll be glad you did."
Go on gurl!

"So many saxophone players out there, that I thought no one could do it any better. Harron sings, write, and produced her own cd. She is difinitely in her own world. Her technique is a cross between Grover, Naje, and the late George Howard. The beats are funky. I really like the spanish spoken word cut, "Kiss My Mind". This whole cd has a variety of styles that I like. I don't know if I want to salsa or struck my stuff. You go gurl. My friends was suprise to find out that she went to the same high school as D'angelo. This jazz cd is an all purpose cd. You can listen to it in the car, play it around the home, or just about anything. Its a welcome change from what is being played on the radio."
