"Weopon of Choice is one of the best unheard bands of the last 5 years. They funk out and offer up some of the most interesting party music since Fishbone bit the big one. Sure they sound like P-Funk, Prince etc. But they mix in a healthy dose of Frank Zappa. Furthermore, Finn Hammer is one rockin' guitarist!"

"Although to the untrained ear, the music put off by Weapon of Choice may seem odd and at times harsh, it's melody and message may never be ignored by those who are intelligent enough to recieve the full affect. The listener must keep and open mind to its skill and keep a foot tapping to its beat because the funk is definitely present."

Powerful, fun funk

"W.O.C.'s first album is unrelenting, pummelling funk/hard rock at its best. Their complex combination of power-bass and towering vocals and masterfully-syncopated percussion is so smoothly-executed they seem like seasoned veterans. This is some of the best music to come out of Seattle ever. They opened up the local scene to brand-new innovations and cross-genre mini-revolutions in music for years. The lead singer has a silly, elastic voice that dazzles. YOU will love this."
