The Squares were the best

"The music is as good today as it was in the 80's. In Seattle, I first heard them on KBCS and immediately purchased their first album and soon after, this album. "Neal Cassady" is especially poignant. Bruce Paskow moved to Seattle in the early 90's and I was lucky to not only meet him, but also played music with him. What a treat. When he died, it was too sudden and too early for such a gentle and brilliant man. Buy this album and buy it now. You will not be sorry."
Fantastic Band, Fantastic Album

"This is really fun folk-rock which occasionally wanders into pop territory. Tight vocal harmonizing, good songwriting, and a great selection of covers. My personal favorites are "Fourth Day of July", which is a rowdy bit of social critique, and "Charcoal", which deserves to be a top-20 pop hit. Too bad we live in an age when only computerized singers make the hit list. This is old fashioned analog singing/strumming goodness!"
