After all these years, she's still got it!

"This live album shows that the "Queen Of Rockabilly" hasn't lost a thing. Recorded in December of 2002 in New York, Wanda is heard here in top form. She delivers her classic hits "I Gotta Know", "Fujiyama Mama","Right Or Wrong" and "Riot In Cell Block #9" as if no time has passed at all. Her trademark growl is fully intact. However, there is a clunker here, her cover of Bob Seger's "Old Time Rock & Roll" gets the show off to a shaky start. She sounds very out of place on the song. However once she gets into her own material it's an enjoyable listen. Each song is preceded with a story from Wanda, talking with the crowd. One other minor complaint, the show sounds as if it was recorded "as is", in other words, there were little to no edits done. On the one hand this is a good thing, it sounds very "in the moment" on the other, the in between song banter could have been edited a bit to make it less "talky". Also early on in the show a band member is heard asking the sound guy to "please turn Wanda up in our monitors, thank you!". No biggie, but a minor edit would have made this sound a wee bit more professional. However, this all comes down to the music, at 65 Wanda sounds a good as ever. The disc is a fun listen and a must for all Wanda Jackson fans."
