"The sound quality on this two-CD compilation is good but I was hoping that this package would be a remastered product. The songs are gathered from their 1965-1967 era. This package commences with their two best-known songs which is fine with me since they are my favorite Walker Brothers hits. There are several other great songs on this collection as well but I would have preferred having those tunes (about 14 songs) on a single disc. John Maus was a very good singer but Scott was exceptional. His "no ... no .. " ad-libs on "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" convey emotional heartache as well as anyone who ever sang. For those not too familiar with their output, there are plenty of wonderful surprises including such tunes as "Stay with Me Baby", "I Need You", "Love Her", etc. The annotation is ok but for the price I wish there was more information, i.e., recording dates, release dates, etc. However, the highlights on this set make it a worthwhile package to own especially for the price offered on Amazon. (As an aside, I wonder if Hamilton, Joe Frank, and Reynolds modeled themselves on the Walkers!)."
