CD ReviewsSmoothLounge.com Review Sandy Shore | Monterey, CA | 06/21/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "From the creator of the smooth/chill group Love Gypsies, comes GET LOOSE by Waldino (aka Walter Liskiewicz). The solo Gypsy pulls all the stops out on this seductive midnight romp of love and luxury. The CD leads off with the rhythmic title anthem that chants the disc's theme: "Sometimes you just gotta get loose, y'all." With that being said, the journey from this point forward is indeed loose and relaxed... Sultry beats and textures that include a steamy female voice as well as hip saxophone work on selected tracks by the "Studio Gypsies." The music coming from the mind and soul of Mr. Liskiewicz is truly inspired. It's comprehensive, fresh and colorful. The artist skillfully manages programming and harmonica, and is also the composer of all music and lyrics on GET LOOSE. Those of us having lived for a few decades or more will appreciate the retro-vibe that emanates throughout GET LOOSE. I can't help but think of The Starship's "Miracles" when I hear the ethereal groove, "Precious To Me." I'm so close to this project, that it is hard for me to pick favorites. But if pressed, I would say that I gravitate to the easy vibe of "Never Say Never," the sexy, "Love of My Life," plus I totally dig the chill lounge joint, "Electro Funk Jazz," and the fresh, "Bring It On." GET LOOSE is a listening experience that is going to guarantee a very satisfying and freeing voyage with each play. ~Sandy Shore"
