"I had no idea this album was going to be this good. I basically bought it after seeing the video for defenseless. That is a good track, but turns out the entire album is great. Very chill, very down tempo, excellent beats, and synths. Some stand out tracks in my mind are Slaapwagen, and Death of a Piano Salesman. This album also includes production from Kruder & Dorfmeister, two of the best. After listening to this album over and over, I now want to get the remix album which includes Thievery Corporation."

"Waldeck's aplty-named "Balance of the Force" is a beautiful mixture of ambient, downtempo, dub and soulful psychedlic grooves that are great "for-play" (heehee) during those midnight sessions with that signifiant other, or when you're alone chillin' doin' whatever the hell you do. With stunning- hallucinogenic vocals and hauntingly-delightful instrumentation, "Balance of the Force" will get inside your head, heart, soul and eventually those hands and feet of yours! Just go easy on the bass--this baby is packed with it!"
Very well balanced CD

"This CD has a lot of Jazz-like elements and is very easy on the ears. I especially like the song "Northern Lights". I recommend this CD to anyone who likes Acid Jazz or Drum & Bass type music."
