This is wakelands sixth and arguably best album. after releasing their first two albums independently and selling 20,000 copies,they signed to giant records(a subsidiary of warner bros.)and released magnetic. the major label experience was less than they hoped and wakeland released two more records independently, stripped (an acoustic record) and wakeland(self-entitled). searching for that feeling that made them want to start the band in the first place, wakeland came off the road and started work on blur in 1999. This is the record they always knew they could make and has found them more excited than ever about music. the release date for blur was march 10, 2001.
