"I lived in Ireland until I was 10, and I'm now 20 and this album makes me long for "home" more than almost anything else. The ballads are beautiful, the rebel-songs inspiring and historic. The Wolfe Tones were obviously fabulous live, and I regret never getting to see them. This is the next best thing."
Fabulous CD

"I saw the Wolfe Tones in Waterford last week and I can honestly say they are still fabulous and that their sound has not changed since this 1980's performance in Kilburn's National Ballroom (which has sadly since closed). The performances on this CD are fabulous and some of their best songs are performed. I would recommend this CD to anyone fond of Irish music, though to be fully appreciated they must be seen live."
One of the best Irish albums out there

"I got this two years ago and I still play it regularly. Everything about this album is great, from the sound quality to the songs themselves. While no song is bad, some you're likely to skip after awhile, such as 'Some Say the Divil is Dead.'And even though 'Paddy's Dream' is a humorous and well written piece of poetry, it's not something you'll want to listen to everytime through. The song selection is very nice and of course the Wolfe Tones themselves are incredible. If you're new to the Wolfe Tones or Irish music in general, I strongly suggest this album."
