A genuine Mozart recording

"The recording presents truly authentic Requiem by spirit, form and playing. Choir singing is distinct, clear and tenebrous; orchestra playing is excellent, soloists are good. Conducting is well-balanced, features precise choice of tempos and phrasing manner. Also the CD contains the masonic cantata that cannot be compared by music quality with Requiem but it may be interesting for Mozart's collectors as it's recorded rarely. Among the recordings on periodic instruments to compete and compare with this Requiem I can mention an excellent recording by Jordi Savall (Astree label)."
