"What kind of review is "I just wasn't happy with this music purchase?" This is a great CD with a fine direction in contemporary jazz. Unlike what passes as jazz in the smooth jazz genre, Voo Doo Village is a group of excellent musicians breaking new ground in contemporary jazz, which is a challenging thing to do. Would have been nice on the CD to give more time for each soloist to stretch out a bit because that is where they really shine. But studio time is expensive and the market available now on Satelite radio isn't exactly like the Blue Note club in NY. But if you're looking for some fresh grooves and a step out, but still anchored in, the tradition of jazz, you'll love this group and this great CD."
