"It is hard to believe that the "Concertos for Strings" were lost for almost two hundred years (they were found accidentally, but fortunately, in 1926), because they are pieces where Vivaldi reveals all his musical mastery, putting on them a level of interest (characterized by an high degree of rythmic intensity and emotion) similar to that one imposed on his masterwork - "The Four Seasons". Superb music, indeed! Just a word for the perfomances of Anner Bylsma and Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra: excellent! Definitively, a great record deserving to be listened urgently."
Beautiful Baroque!
