"Friends emailed this web site page and I was not only surprised but very proud and honored to read the reviews and to know that there are some many great folks out there that still appreciate yesterdays most romantic latin music of all times! I grew up with this music from morning to sunset. I have made copies of these reviews for Virginia Lopez and gave them to her personally. She is retired now and lives in Puerto Rico. I should know, I am her daughter! She was very happy to see that people still remember... and a bit nostalgic. Thanks to everyone of you fans and listeners of the best latin romantic music of all times!"

""Tus Promesas de Amor" (track 22) has pop appeal that remains infectuous to this day. It's more than kitschy fun. Mike Figgis (director of Leaving Las Vegas) played it on the morning show on KCRW a couple of years ago, so don't be surprised if it shows up on a soundtrack some day."
