"I recently got this 7-disc set from the library and to say I'm pleased with it would be a gross understatement. The performances are wonderful, and the sound quality just right. The first disc is just pieces that didn't fit under the standard violin sonata criteria. They are from all periods of Mozart's life and are nice enough, although most remained incomplete until after his death. The next two discs are very early Mozart, as in when he was 6 years old to about 10 years. As simplistic as they are, it's still amazing that the young Mozart can produce music of this caliber. It's pretty much baroque/Italian style music with the harpsichord and violin but it's good enough. Things really get cooking when you get to the last four discs though. These are mature Mozart pieces and it shows, as each track practically glitters with brilliance. The set ends with the marvelous K. 526 sonata. Even at the rather high price, this is still an excellent set, and a very good addition to the Complete Mozart Edition"
