"I can imagine why Kyung Wha Chung made this CD recording at that time. Maybe it was the time when the private behind story of the composer, Berg, relating to this concerto was disclosed to the world around 1980, and Chung right away decided to record this concerto at this monumental points. I have appreciated Chung as the only virtuoso who can best interpret highly complicated modern violin musics of her contemporaries, like Prokofiev, Stravinsky, Bartok, etc.
Whenever I listen to her playing those contemporaries, I feel that I am walking through the exibitions of modern fine art museum. I strongly recommend!!!"
