Famed jazz pianist Vince Guaraldi will always be best known for his cheerful, uplifting work with Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang, having scored all of their beloved TV specials, until his untimely passing in 1976. Over the course of many years, and as many Peanuts television programs, Guaraldi built a catalog of memorable Peanuts tunes...most famously the instantly recognizable theme song, "Linus and Lucy." But beyond that classic tune were a vast array of other songs dedicated to, and written about, all the other characters created by Charles Schultz. Peanuts Portraits salutes each of Schultz's characters with hand-picked songs selected from all the past Peanuts TV specials and corresponding soundtrack albums.
