Synopsis

Album Description
Even now, in the year 2009, most psychedelic acidheads still remember the legendary cult band The Vietnam Veterans and their stunning, hypnotizing music. Their last album was released in 1987 and now, 21 years later, they return with a mesmerizing new masterpiece! Nobody, least of all the band members, expected this to happen. Mark Enbatta and Lucas Trouble remained close friends through the years, with Trouble busy recording wild music in his now-legendary Kaiser Studios. They hooked up with James Kiput and Eric Lenoir, and the karma was back! The four lunatics went into the studio, and this is the result--72 minutes of hypnotic psychedelic music. In the coming months, Music Maniac will also re-release on CD the Veterans' cult albums In Ancient Times and Catfish Eyes and Tales. The Vietnam Veterans is a French band that first started playing in 1982. The original lineup consisted of Mark Enbatta, Lucas Trouble, Greg Jones, Angelo Jupp, Steve Palermo, and D.D. Richardson. Over the years and through remarkably few personnel changes, the band produced several cult LPs including On The Right Track Now (1983), Crawfish for the Notary (1984), Green Peas (1985), In Ancient Times (1986), Catfish Eyes and Tales (1987), and Days of Pearly Spencer (1988). "Souls must have been sold for a performance like this." -- Bucketful of Brains
