CD ReviewsSuperb, as are all her albums Monica J. Kern | Lexington, KY United States | 07/29/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "I became aware of Vicki Logan's work about a year ago when I bought her album, 'Finding My Way, and she has rapidly emerged as my favorite New Age artist, barring--perhaps--Mike Oldfield. (His 'Tubular Bells' was my first introduction to new age music as a teenager, and he will always hold a special place in my heart because of that.) All three of her albums are top-notch, and I would be hard-pressed to rank order them in terms of how much I like them. Her music possesses a complexity and vibrancy missing in much new age music. Rather than relying largely on droning synthesizers, Logan combines a variety of instruments (piano, sax, guitar, flugelhorn, even) and catchy beats and melodies that haunt you long after the album has finished. In comparing the three albums, I would say that 'The Ride' is technically more polished and balanced musically than her other two, although none of the tracks reaches the heights of 'My Mother's Memories' from 'Finding My Way,' which in my opinion is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Heck, rather than worrying which of Logan's albums to purchase, go out and buy all three of them! You won't be sorry. " Best ever! Rita | Iowa | 01/04/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "You can buy all three of Vicki's ablums, play them in order, over and over and never regret a second of it. Very gifted person! My whole family likes it and so do the kids at school. It's hard to please everyone but this album foots the bill!
