"Produced by the man who made Madonna a star, Jellybean Benitez, "Veronica" is an amazing debut album for a bonafide dance diva sure to make an impact in the world of dance anthems. Born Veronica Vasquez, this Latina diva reminded me of several Latina divas of years past such as Safire and Lisa Lisa.On this album, which was released on Jellybean's newly created label, Jellybean Records, Veronica unleashes the diva inside with a collection of great songs and the collaboration of several of the industry's top remixers. Starting with the remixes of the Evelyn Champagne King classic "I'm In Love," Veronica shows that she is a diva in the same rank as other club divas as Ultra Nate and Deborah Cox. The album continues with other amazing songs such as Hex Hector's remix of her club hit "Rise" and another version of "I'm in Love," however the ultimate showstopper in this album has to be Johnny Vicious' remix of "Someone to Hold." When I originally heard this remix on the soundtrack to the film "Trick" I knew I was hooked on Veronica from the on. At over 12 minutes, this song will knock your socks off as Veronica's vocals and Johnny's ingenious remixing will blast you away. It is definitely one of the most highly requested songs I have heard at clubs throughout the country.Other songs such as "No One But You" and "Let Me Go...Release Me" are great to listen too. If you are a big fan of the recent wave of club divas to hit the market, than make sure you try this album out. It is one of my highly recommended club albums in recent years."

"Supurb!!Wow, was I taken away with this CD. I listen to it mostly everyday. I am so HAPPY that Jellybean decided to put all of Veronica's Remixes on one CD. I do HIGHLY recommend this CD for anyone who loves to dance to House Club Music. Veronica has a voice that just Hypnotizes me. She is considered and Ultimate DanceFloor Diva. Hex Hector does it again! I was familiar with most Remixes on this CD except Hex Hector's, No One But You and Rise. I heard the originals but never heard the Remixes. When I heard them I was very impressed. Though, there was cut outs of the song where she says on the track, No One But You, "Nothing Compares to the joy you bring." The Chorus doesn't sound like the original does. It sounds more smoother. I don't know if Hex or someone had her re-record the whole song with different tones, but it WORKS. Hex still got it going on. Johnny Vicious just blows things up. Johnny's Remixes for I'm In Love, Release Me, Someone To Hold are club anthems and are being played at most clubs. People can't get enough of these tracks remixed by Vicious. He is a Remixer King. Razor n Guido do an excellent Duhb on "Someone to Hold," but I would Love to hear a regular remix of the full vocals from Razor n Guido. I am hoping that Veronica will make a new album which would bring on more killer remixes. I would like her company to consider other remixers such as Junior Vasquez, K-Klass, Dave Sears, Todd Terry, Cj Mackintosh, Jonathan Peters, Armand Van Helden, etc. Buy yourself a copy, believe me, you WILL NOT be dissapointed. J Hope my review helped."

"I bought this album after falling in love with the track 'Release me' which got a bit of radio play in NYC. The album features excellent mixes, in particular the extended dance mixes of Release me, I'm in love and Someone to hold. Major kudos to the remixers - I've listened to these traxx hundreds of times and I still love dancing wildly to them. X-elent album"

"This is the ultimate CD for Veronica fans. The Johnny Vicious Mix of Someone to Hold is simply the best dance mix of all time. That mix alone is worth the price of this CD."
