"If you are a Ventures fan and grew up with their music as I did, then you will probably agree that these two albums are most likely the two BEST they ever recorded!!! "Masterpieces" would be a good description!! If you don't have these two albums in your collection.... your collection is incomplete!"
Two Great Classics!!!!!!!!!!!

"Not all Ventures albums are classics. Wild Things, Guitar Freekout, and Go are not classics. (still sound great, but not classics) For a Ventures album to be a classic, it doesn't have to have any major hits on hit; example: Telstar. Some classics are Walk Dont Run Vol 1 , Let's Go, Ventures In Space, Fabulous Ventures, Hawaii Five o, and the two albums here:WALK DONT RUN:
This album starts off with one of their best covers ever, House Of The Rising Sun. It's definitly more tight than The Animals' version. And next, is my favorite Ventures song, Diamond Head. Its got such a great drive and melody. The Ventures do a good job "rocking" up Night Train, as mostly associated in a jazz setting. Peach Fuzz and Rap City are similar, but Rap City is more of a remembered tune by The Ventures. Obviously this contains Walk Dont Run 64', which is even better than the first version, it even made the charts. Those are the only standouts.KNOCK ME OUT:This album has the best covers by The Ventures ever recorded. I Feel Fine, Love Potion Number Nine, and When You Walk In The Room, are some of them. They were also all featured on The Ventures Live In Japan album. The famous Slaughter On 10th Avenue, is also featured here. She's Not There amd Gone Gone are my favorite. Don Wilson's original, Mariner 4 is a pretty impressive compostion. Overall, this album is thourougly enjoyable."
