"A 12 track single! Whoa! A great buy for any Vengafan. The party anthem has been played everywhere and as it can be seen on this single, over-remixed. The single comes from Japan with 12 tracks. It's like buying a "We Like to Party: Remix Album." What a great buy!Track 01: We Like to Party! (Airplay Mix) (3:43)- This is the version ya'll been hearing on the radio or CD compilations. Very overplayed Ibiza anthem that no one seems to get tired of!Track 02: We Like to Party! (Jason Nevins Remix) (6:58)- This remix by is kinda a wild party anthem. Some places- well most places feels weak. Still good enough to listen to though. The synth is very catchy; the vocals however, doesn't feel like it matches the music. Track 03: We Like to Party! (Klubbheads Remix) (6:05)- Again, this mix is also wild; with thumpin' kicks, snares, and a great factory fell to it. Better than the Jason Nevins Remix, but not the best on the CD. This mix only features only the male vocals sayin `We like to party...we like...we like...we like to party." The mix also features that original melody and train effects that we all love!Track 04: We Like to Party! (Tin Tin Out Remix) (6:45)- This mix is all instrumental, but it has a more powerful effect for some reason. This feels more clubby and doesn't sound like original. This is by far the best instrumental mix I've ever heard. Not recommend to everybody though, only fan of Ian Van Dahl and Peter Luts.Track 05: We Like to Party! (BCM Remix) (4:03)- A good job done by Aircheck. Nice, powerful bass and nice strings. This, like the Tin Tin Out Remix, has a powerful underground club feel to it. Minimal vocals, and again, I only recommend this mix to fans of Ian Van Dahl.Track 06: We Like to Party! (Baunz Mix) (4:45)- Weak and short mix. Danceable, but not clubby enough, like the BCM and Tin Tin Out Remixes. Sadly, this one also has minimal vocals. Don't worry, the original tune still there!Track 07: We Like to Party! (DJ Disco Mix) (4:31)- You gotta love that disco tune. Strong bass and kicks, but VERY annoying (just warning ya'll) There's a vox that keeps on saying "Disco, disco, disco..." But after all that, it's not that bad. Nice tune to dance in the car to, but will never make it mainstream.Track 08: We Like to Party! (Full Schwingg Mix) (4:36)- Reminds me of a video game with all the effects. Minimal vocals here too. The bass line is rather fun to dance to, it sounds so familiar though... Good, something to skip.Track 09: We Like to Party! (Original Version) (4:06)- I know what ya'll are thinkin': "This is just an album version, something that sounds like track 01." You are so wrong. This is probably the best version on CD. The beginning sounds boring with beat-boxing, so some might skip it, but wait 43 seconds, and then the rave tune will pound in. The vocals are just: "we like to party," and some beat-boxing, but has a stronger effect than the Airplay. Two words to describe this song: RAVE ANTHEM.Track 10: We Like to Party! (More Airplay) (5:49)- `More Airplay,' a creative way to say `Extended Mix;' and that's what it is! An extended version of Track 01, with about a minute intro and outro. Nice for anybody who hates the remixes and just LOVE the original.Track 11: We Like to Party! (BCM XXL) (6:21)- BCM XXL... translation- BCM Extra Extra Long. This is an extended version of the BCM Remix. Unlike the BCM Remix, this one can has an intro and an outro; perfect for a mix set! (see track 05)Track 12: We Like to Party! (DJ Vanhaze Hitmix) (7:01)- The longest mix on the single- well of course, it's a megamix. This is for the Venga-Fan that just can't get enough of the Vengaboys. It has "We Like to Party!" "Up & Down," "Parada de Tettas," and "To Brazil!" This is very nice for US fans, since it features the unreleased (US perspective) "Parada de Tettas." Nicely mixed.
This is a great collection of mixes for the hardcore Venga-Fan. Some mixes ARE weak, but like original, it'll grow on you. If you never liked the Vengaboys (is there such a person?) just buy it for Track 09, the Original Version; maybe, that'll change your mind."
