"I don't have this cheap 4-CD set but, as the product info is badly wanting, I thought I'd give some hopefully useful precisions to the potential buyer. Here are the contents:



CD1 : Tavener The Protecting Veil, Thrinos, Eternal Memory by Raphael Wallfisch (cello), the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Justin Brown, reissued from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra label (Tavener: Protecting Veil; Eternal Memory or Tavener: Protecting Veil; Thrinos; Eternal Memory [Germany]), also available on Intersound (Tavener: Protecting Veil/Thrinos/Eternal Memory)



CD 2 is a collection by the Aarhus Sinfonietta, first published on the Classico label, Avantgarde Favourites of the 20th Century, with Ligeti's Chamber Concerto, Webern's Concerto op. 24,Varese's Octandre, Lutoslawski's Chain I, Birtwistle's Ritual Fragment.



CD 3 has Cage's Sonatas and Interludes for prepared piano by John Damgaard, a recording originally published in 1971 and previously reissued on the Classico label (but I haven't found an entry for that earlier CD release, CLASSCD 262).



CD 4 has Schnittke Concerto for mixed chorus (a 40-minute piece) by the Chamber Choir Hymnia conducted by Flemming Windekilde, another Classico-originated recording (the Classico release had 2-CDs, with pieces for organ and the Requiem on CD 2 (Schnittke: Concerto for choir; Requiem). The original set has been reissued by Scandinavian Classics (Schnittke: Requiem; Concerto for Mixed Chorus or Schnittke: Requiem; Concerto for Mixed Chorus)."
