World Vision is the globe's largest privately funded Christian humanitarian agency, serving through child sponsorship and emergency relief in more than 100 countries. Hope Changes Everything is a celebration of their 50 years of dedication to the task. Some of the top contemporary Christian artists have come together for this special anniversary CD, many of whom have had hands-on involvement with World Vision. The songs on this disc call the listener to consider the issues of serving those in need. The title track, written by members of Newsong, is an anthem about turning our faith into action. 4Him's Mark Harris wrote "Broken" as a personal response to a famous prayer penned by Bob Pierce, the founder of World Vision: "Let my heart be broken by the things that break the heart of God." Keeping in step with the spirit of giving, all artist royalties from CD sales go to World Vision to help feed children. This project is more than just music. Lives are being touched.
