"While it's all over the board, it is most definitely not lounge or exotica - I'm not sure why they hoped to mislead you with the title of the CD.
If you want obscure 1960's brassy pop that are either from real movies or sound like they could be the title theme song - this is your collection.
If you like your movie theme sung in a brassy manner (think Shirley Bassey) where you get the full instrumentation and women who can really belt, have a voice that carries and can sing the living daylights out of a song - this collection is for you.
If it sounds like criticism, it's not - I'm just telling you what to expect - some people like that, some people do not - and you do not really get the truth from the CD title.
Personally, I did not think any were hidden gems but they were interesting. There are a couple of minimalistic tracks that are lounge if you think minimalism is lounge ... the songs titles that are not in English and (no surprise) mostly not in English."
Not so good.

"I've read several reviews before buying this CD, but honestly I didn't like it, even when I do love Italian music. I thought that "lounge" in the title meant lounge music, not necessarily in this case. Some of the songs have too fast a beat for lounge music."
