A good introduction to industrial music

"I bought "The Very Best of Industrial Revolution" at the start of what would become my obsession with industrial music a few years ago. It would also be my first exposure to great bands like Skinny Puppy, Project Pitchfork, Razed in Black, and Front Line Assembly. This really helped usher in a new era for me. All the songs on this one disc compilation epitomizes what industrial music is all about. The highlights for me were Razed in Black's "What's Fair". The song itself really holds up well and is very fitting in this politically charged climate today. Although a bit different from what I have heard from RiB recently, the song itself is still good. The melodies and vocals are outstanding. Front Line Assembly's "Epidemic" was also the first song I had been exposed to and I loved what I heard. The abrasive, searing industrial beats is classic FLA. There was not one song on the cd I couldn't find that I didn't like. This was and is a great introduction to one of music's most underrated genres."
