"Howard Levy is the absolute master of playing the diatonica harmonica chromatically. Using a system of overbends, he's capable of playing not only the notes that are included in the standard 10-hole diatonic harmonica, but he's also capable of hitting any note from any musical scale as well. This amazing talent allows free reign to explore any field of music, regardless of the artificial boundaries placed by musical experts.Everytime that I've had the pleasure to see Howard perform, it's been different. I've seen him play Folk, ethnic, Classical, jazz, both classical and modern. There seems to be nothing that he cannot play on the humble harmonica. This recording is a stellar example of the amazing things that Howard levey is capable of. Combining modern Jazz with Middle-Eastern and Asiatic influences, what you get here is a thoroughly enjoyable exploration through the world of music. The back-up musicians, Glen Velez and Eugene Friesen are equally adept at percussion and cello respectively.Overall, this is a group that you see and listen to. Buying a copy of this CD is highly recommended."
