"Totally Hits 2001 is a good compilation cd to bring to a party. Most the songs have good beats to get your groove on to. Here's a rated list of the songs on the album:1.Blu Cantrell- Hit 'em Up Style (Oops) *4/5 When I first heard this song, I didn't like it. But it's grown on me. It has a catchy chorus and a good beat.2. 112- Peaches & Cream *4/5 This song has an awesome, funky, hip-hop beat, but the lyrics are stupid.3. Missy Elliot- Get Ur Freak On *5/5 This song rocks! It has a such a good beat to dance to. This is proabably one of my favorites on the cd.4. Alicia Keys- Fallin' (remix) FEATURING BUST RHYMES *2/5 Folks, the original version was WAY better. I normally skip this song.5. P. Diddy, Black Rob & Mark Curry- Bad Boy For Life *3/5
This song is ok... I don't like rap that much but this song i ok. Typical rap song.6. Dream- This Is Me *2/5 Again I say, listen to the original version. It is much better.7. Usher- U Remind Me *5/5 This is a great r&b song that will get stuck in your head for a long time, "u remind me of a girl..."8. O-Town- All or Nothing *3/5 This song is ok. I not really into the whole *Nsync or Backstreet scene, but I know a lot of people that do. This is a song for the teen girls. This song isn't for me.9. Eve 6- Here's to the Night *3/5 Umm..this is a soft rock song. It's kinda boring though. I normally skip over it.10. Uncle Kracker- Follow Me *1/5 Oh my gosh, I am soo sick of this song I could scream my head off. They play it WAY too much on the radio, and it's a very annoying song. Skip this one!11. LFO- Every Other Time *3/5 This is another one of those poppy boy band songs. Dumb song. LFO tries to act sorta like rappers, but they fail each time.12. Sugar Ray- When It's Over *4/5 This is a good rock song, perfromed by Mark McGrath, just don't play it too much, or it will get boring and annoying.13. Willa Ford- I Wanna Be Bad *5/5 This is one of the few pop songs that I thoroughly enjoyed. This song has such an awesome beat, you'll wanna get up and start dancing! One of my favoriteson the album.14. Toya- I Do!! *4/5 This song is another good r&b song that has a good beat. But not the best on the cd.15. Outkast- So Fresh, So Clean *2/5 I dont know about you, but I personally don't like Outkast. I think they are stupid and annoying, but I know a lot of people like this song, but it's not for me.16. Ludacris- What's Your Fantasy FEATURING SHAWNA *4/5 This rap song will get stuck in your head. It has a very hip beat, but some of the lyrics I wouldn't recommend to younger children.17. Craig David- Fill Me In *3/5 This song is ok. It's another typical r&b song. I like "7 Days" better.18. Dido- Thank You *4/5 This is a great song to end this cd to. A nice mellow song that will saranate you with Dido's pretty, yet soft voice. These are what I think of the songs on Totally Hits 2001. I hope this helps you! Some of the songs are good, but some are pretty bad. I recommend this cd to those who like pop/hip-hop. Hope this helps!"
"Totally Hits 2002" will be better.

"... There are still some good songs on this CD, ..."Hit 'Em Up Style (Oops!)" - Blu Cantrell. This song was very overplayed last summer, but it's still a good R&B song. I like the beat and Blu's voice; this song has a very powerful message. 4/5"Peaches And Cream" - 112. Never really liked this song. It's okay, but I'm not really into 112. Another very overplayed song. 1/5"Fallin'" (Remix featuring Busta Rhymes) - Alicia Keys. The original was so much better, even though it got very overplayed. I don't know why they had to use a remix, because it just ruined the song. 0/5 (for the Busta Rhymes remix) 4/5 (for the original version)"Get UR Freak On" - Missy Elliott. Much better than the remix with Nelly Furtado. I do like rap music, but I'm not a hardcore rap fan. This is still an okay song though...I really like the beat of it. 3/5"Bad Boy For Life" - P. Diddy, Black Rob & Mark Curry. Don't care for this song. I like P. Diddy, but this is not his best song. I usually skip this track. 1/5"This Is Me" (Remix featuring Kain) - Dream. Dumb remix, but I like the original. Another track on this CD that I usually skip. 0/5 (for the remix) and 5/5 (for the original version)"U Remind Me" - Usher. I love this R&B song! Usher is awesome, and this is one of his best songs yet. Never gets old, even though they totally overplayed it. 5/5"All Or Nothing" - O-Town. Another song that I love. O-Town is awesome, despite that they are a Boy Band. One of my favorites, a beautiful love ballad. 5/5"Here's To The Night" - Eve 6. An okay Rock ballad. This is a good last-song-of-the-night song for a school dance or Prom. It kind of got overplayed and got boring after a while. 4/5"Follow Me" - Uncle Kracker. Definitely an overplayed song! I like the beat, but it's very overplayed and kind of tiring to listen to. 3/5"Every Other Time" - LFO. Great Pop song! Yes, this is a Pop song. Yes, LFO is a Boy Band. But I gotta admit that I love this song! 5/5"When It's Over" - Sugar Ray. "Answer The Phone" is a better song, but this is still pretty good. 4/5"I Wanna Be Bad" - Willa Ford. I don't like Willa Ford too much, but I've gotta admit this is a catchy song. One of the best Pop songs on this CD. 5/5"I Do!!" - Toya. A great R&B song perfect for clubs and for dancing. This was not an overplayed song, so it hasn't gotten old yet. 5/5"So Fresh, So Clean" - OutKast. I was never a huge fan of OutKast, but I guess this rap song is okay. Original, most definitely...but I have no idea what it's supposed to be about. 2/5"What's Your Fantasy?" (featuring Shawna) - Ludrcris. Nasty lyrics, but catchy song. I don't know why I like this song, but I do. It's hands down, a rap song. And definitely not for children. I guess I really like the beat of the song. 3/5"Fill Me In" - Craig David. Overplayed R&B song, but still a good one. I like "7 Days" and his new single, "Walking Away" more than this one, but this is a good song. 4/5"Thank You" - Dido. Great soft Pop song! I love the beat and lyrics and Dido has a good voice. 5/5... TOTALLY HITS 2001 was a good CD, ... If you like a variety in your music tastes, then I recommend TOTALLY HITS 2001. Buy it today, ... This was a great CD!"
Finally, a truly great Totally Hits!

"Well, I must say that the past Totally Hits CDs have been worse than I could have hoped. But Totally Hits 2K1 is truly a terrific hits compilation. The songs on this CD are terrific! They have all charted. Although some of the songs are overplayed, they are still good. Here's my review of all the songs.1. Hit 'Em Up Style: This song is really cool. It was overplayed for a while, but this is still a great song. This is a very creative song. One of the best on the CD! 5/52. Peaches & Cream: This song is OK. The music is kind of neat, but the lyrics, are, well, a little weird. Still OK. 3.5/53. Get Ur Freak On: I must say, I'm not what you would call a rap fan. During the summer, though, there were some rap songs that came out that attracted me. This would be one of them. It has a really catchy beat. I like it a lot. 4/54. Fallin' (Remix): Come on! The original version is WAY better. This version, with Busta Rhymes, is just crazy. His rapping is really annoying. Alicia Keys didn't deserve to have her name on this garbage. She is a great artist. The original would have gotten 5/5. 2/55. Bad Boy For Life: I didn't expect much out of this song, with me not liking rap, and I was right. This song has an odd backbeat, and the rapping is bad. 0/56. This Is Me (Remix): I'm not a remix fan, but this remix isn't too bad. Don't get me wrong, it's not even close to excellent, and I prefer the original, but as far as remixes go, it's OK. You wouldn't recognize that it's a remix of This Is Me, because it's very different. 2.5/57. U Remind Me: It took me a few listens for me to like this, but once it clicked, it became one of my favorite songs. The lyrics are really nice, and the beat is catchy. If you don't lke it at first, give it another try. You'll like it. 5/58. All Or Nothing: This is a pretty good ballad from O-Town. I like the piano at the beginning. This song really got them noticed. 4.5/59. Here's To The Night: This song, while good, was overplayed to the point where I began to get tired of it. The lyrics are nice. This song is OK. 3/510. Follow Me: Like Here's To The Night, this song got really overplayed. It's OK, but nothing special. However, I like the idea behind the song. 3.5/511. Every Other Time: I really didn't like LFO much until I heard this song. It's a cool song with neat lyrics, but can be sort of annoying at times. I can't say that this is a great song, but I can say that it's worth a listen. 4/512. When It's Over: The reviews of songs #9 and #10 sum this song up. I'm tired of it, but the lyrics are OK. 3/513. I Wanna Be Bad: Here's where the CD really begins to get cool. I know Willa's image isn't the best, but you've got to admit, this is a really catchy song! I love the backbeat, and the lyrics are pretty cool! 5/514. I Do!!: I absolutely love this song. It's very catchy, and will get you up and dancing. You can't help but sing to this unique song! This song is old, but it seems to get better every time I hear it! This is absolutely my favorite song on the CD. You'll love it! 5/5 (deserves more!)15. So Fresh So Clean: This song is average. It gets annoying after a few listens, but it's OK. Nothing spectacluar. 2.5/516. What's Your Fantasy: Hate is a strong word. I'm sorry, but I hate both this song and Ludacris. It's gross, and really bizarre! The songwriters must have been desperate if they had to use lyrics like this. It's old too (that should be reason enough why it shouldn't be on this CD.) The only good thing about this song is that the beat is OK. Not good, but OK. Still, I think this is an awful song. 0/517. Fill Me In: This is a neat song! The beat is really cool, and the lyrics are really good. Craig David has a bright future
in America. An interesting song. 4.5/518. Thank You: This song is pretty old, and it was overplayed. I don't like the fact that it was on Eminem's song, either. However, it's actually a nice song. It's on the softer side, but it's still catchy, and sweet. 4/5This a terrific CD with all sorts of great summer hits! You may also want Now 7 and 8, which also have lots of summer hits, from artists including Destiny's Child, Janet Jackson, and NSYNC who can't be on Totally Hits because of their record labels. Anyway, if you liked the hits you heard on the radio this summer, but don't want to buy all of the artists' CDs, this is the CD for you!"
