"GROWING UP IN A CZECH-AMERICAN COMMUNITY we heard the music of our heritage often and with great joy. That memory will be reborn when you listen to this CD. My father was a DJ for 12 years at WRJN, Racine, Wisconsin. He had a CZECHO-SLOVAK HOUR every week and he played polkas and waltzes heard on this CD. The preservation of our heritage by these Texas' Bands and others is a listening pleasure and greatly appreciated."

"Though I am of Irish desent with this album I imagaine that once more I am a 10 year old boy in Central Texas with my family listening to the Sunday Czech music radio broadcast. Also,there was nothing like a Czech dance with live music, bright lights, and all ages on the dance floor. This takes me back to those happy childhood times and beautiful, happy Texas Czech music."
