"bravo to bear family. as is their habit, they cut no corners in presenting older music with a sound better than any other re-issue house.

every song on this remarkable cd is brilliantly remastered, so well in fact, that it's like hearing most of these tunes for the 1st time.

i've heard the song 'jimmy mack" hundreds of times over the years, but this is the 1st time i've heard it the way it sounded in the studio.

the motown songs on this comp are way better than even motown presented them on their own label collections.

if you love this kind of music, this cd and the rest of the 'sweet soul music' series is a no-brainer.

this is as good as it will ever get.
