A slice of life for those looking to duplicate the overseas Amsterdam `chill-out' experience. Not the first CD of this genre that I would recommend. If you're seeking a not-so-easy-to-find album in your collection, this would be a decent choice. The production and mixing quality is not the best but the track selection is broad and varied.The song "Ebredes" by Marcel is one of the smoothest first tracks on an album I've ever heard; it rivals St. Germain's "Deep In It" for that slow, lush deep house feel. For the Import price, it's not bad. A must have? eh, it's not quite there. Some may draw parallels between this album and the "Paris Lounge - Paris by Day/Night" series. Fans of "Hotel Costes" should explore as well. Moving in stereo, -daz."

"It's music played in the Amsterdam restaraunt of the same name, so if you like what they play you'll like the CD. There are some good songs, but really it's background music - but if like me you are a big fan of this incredibly cool restaurant then it is worth it just for the beatifully presented CD case with pictures of the inside - own a souvenir of Amsterdam culture!"
