"I did some research on the song that plays during Queen Latifah's character, Cleo's death scene. It's called "Up Against the Wind" by Lori Perri and can be found on the Original Motion Picture Score. Go to musiclandstation.com under soundtracks to order or find out more songs that did not end up on the original soundtrack for this wonderful movie. Hope this helps you..it helped me a lot!..."

"The song "Up Againt the Wind" sung by Lori Perri is on the soundtrack by Christopher Young. You can find it in CDNow.com That's where I got mine. I looked all over the place for the lyrics to "Up Againt the Wind" but can't find them anywhere."

"Many kudos were heaped upon "Thelma and Louise" upon its release and perhaps, the film from which THIS soundtrack comes may have been influenced by the former. However, "Set It Off" remains an underrated and under-appreciated masterpiece and stands alone as a film about women forced into a life of crime by the society's gender and racial constraints. The accompanying soundtrack may not garner "five stars" but its pluses far outweigh any minuses, even the omission of the track that others here are seeking. For those whose tastes are eclectic, the disc offers a blend of various styles. En Vogue's "Don't Let Go (Love)", "Missing You" (Brandy, Tamia, Gladys Knight, and Chaka Khan), "Sex is On My Mind" by Blulight, and Simply Red's "Angel" are for the traditional R & B listener. Brandy's little brother Ray J provides the adolescent set with a little ditty that they can appreciate in the form of "Let It Go" and Seal fans can savor the rock-influenced "Hey Joe".Even the film's star Queen Latifah gets to exercise her vocal chords on both the title track and "Name Callin', both examples of how gifted the lady is, as both an actress and legend of the rap world. All in all, "Set it Off" does exactly that with aplomb!"
