CD Reviews

Timeless Dance Music
M. O'Connell | Pasadena, CA | 01/07/2010
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Although it takes a bit longer to receive than the instant gratification of buying through the IPod store, the wait was worth it. Buying used CDs in like-new condition is still a much better bargain price wise. Also enjoyable to have the lyrics available via the CD case.

Classic generation crossing disco-dance album. For me, brought back good memories of my youth; for my children, a chance to share with them, through this album, a bit of nostalgia from the more innocent time of the mid '70s. For all the "you sold out" criticism the Bee Gees took for contributing to the bulk of this album, it still holds up more than 30 years later."

"Thank you for your service. The set was like new, as you stated. The music is quite enjoyable, it takes me back to a much more vibrant time of my life."
Superior SHM version

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I received and compared this Japanese SHM version to the latest US remastered release I own. The superiority of the SHM version was readily apparent. The US remastered release sounds flat, muddy with a narrowerer soundstage in comparison."
